This web site provides you with information about my work since I started working as a researcher in the year 2000. I try to continuously update the content of this website. This website serves to share my research interests and research directions that have evolved based on my working experience, latest technology developments, or changing needs in practice.

The areas mentioned on this homepage reflect the different fields I had worked in or that I am still working on. They refer to research areas such as computer-based assessment in education, pedagogics and cognition in general, software engineering, artificial intelligence, adaptive information systems as well as to specific application fields, e.g., higher education and corporate training, learning and knowledge management at the workplace, assessment and evaluation in education.
